and resolve claims as quickly as possible. In your case, additional information was needed to continue processing the claim, and requests were sent on April 15 and April 25. On April 27, you advised our claims team that the information would be provided. A follow-up email was also sent to you on May 12. At this time, we are still awaiting the requested documentation needed to continue the review process. I remain confused about coverage
I felt extremely safe and secure havibg this insurance for any possible scenario. I’ve already highly recommended it to folks . Looking forward to using this service again for my even more extensive journey for 2027

Ins claimed that plane malfunction and cancellation not covered. We were unable to get to Iceland before cruise left.
I submitted a claim with with Detour 16 days ago regarding a trip interruption and a lost/delayed bag. So far I have received ZERO communication or feedback.
Great assistance from Detour underwriter as I had to change the coverage amount several times.
While we did not need to use the Detour policy, it was reassuring to know that we had it just in case. The customer service was fine and the cost is fair. What more could you ask for,
