Customer service is open on weekends but no one able to actually help with a claim which was not helpful for receiving any guidance during our trip. Paperwork since has been cumbersome.

I have submitted a claim and have spoken to Leigh at Detour twice so far. On both occasions, she has been very helpful and courteous. The claim has not been settled at this point, but during my conversations with Leigh, I have received the guidance I’ve needed and my questions have been answered completely.

The claims process was very easy. On two occasions, I had questions regarding procedure, I called the Company directly and Leigh was very helpful and answered my questions completely. I received payment quicker than expected.
Whats the point of getting insurance if you can’t not use it. My passport was stolen and there was no way for me to travel. This is out of my hands and frustration plus not to mention the money that I lost plus the money I paid your insurance. I had been your customer for years. From now on I will never buy insurance since is worthless. When I called and explained what happened to me the attendant should told that you guys don’t cover for this reason of lost passport. Instead she made me go through the steps wasting my time . Really bad experience from you guys. Really disappointed.
Filed a claim for delayed luggage.
Their were 3 purchases made for essential items/ clothes as United couldn't tell us when it would arrive.
They only offered to pay for the first invoice and we didn't accept. Took 4 days to receive our bag.
