We had to provide a lot of paperwork and some was difficult to obtain
Also we had multiple emails back and forth which made the process lengthy

I unfortunately got ill and was hospitalized the day we were supposed to leave my boyfriend and I were going to leave for our Safari. The claim process was simple and we were able to get our reimbursement within 2 weeks. I didn’t need to do any follow up, the check just arrived in the mail.
Was great coverage at a reasonable price glad we didn't need to use it but was nice to know we had it
I had to terminate my trip after 4 days because of a medical emergency. I intend to file a claim to recoup what I can for the expenses of the tour and travel, etc. I have not been able to fill out claim information at this point because of health issues but i am trying to gather information to do so.
It was an easy process to purchase the travel insurance but I have not yet tried to file a claim or speak to Detour so I cannot comment on their service or follow through.
customer representative was very friendly. she helped me pick the best plan for my particular needs. The price was fair. The experience was positive and would not hesitate to select Detour again. thank you
So far the communication has been good. I’ve made a claim on June 14th and have yet to hear back. Still in process

My claim and communication was handled in a timely and professional manner. I will definitely use them again. I hope I won’t have to make another claim but if the need arises there will be no stress or worry and that’s reassuring!

As soon as we submitted our denial from Humana, the claim was processed and paid in full. Very pleased.
We contacted about lost luggage but will not be submitting any claim
