We were happy we had this travel insurance coverage and fortunately did not have to make a claim. About one month before leaving on the trip our airline changed the flight. We had to travel one day earlier and I wrote to the insurance company to change the policy date and they approved it without issue.

I have received your decision. I find it very unsatisfactory. There was no way for me to contact the Reykjavik security after leaving the country and to file a "report". The loss is not a lsrge amount financially and is the first time I have claimed a loss on an insurance bought through Squaremouth. I have used Squaremouth for over 15 years and have recommended it to my patients who travel. Obviously I will point out to Squaremouth as well as to patients and friends to avoid purchasing Detour insurance at all costs in future.

The purchase price for this policy was significantly less than similar policies from other providers.
They were great. Claim paid within two weeks. I was surprised and very happy.
I filed a medical claim with 2 supporting documents on line on 6/13/24 and received a check in the mail for full amount of claim on 6/24/24. Although I was unable to track the claim, the timeliness of the payment was very satisfactory!
