We had to cancel our trip due to sickness and I submitted all of the information that HTH wanted which they mailed to me very promptly. The customer service people were very courteous and very understanding and we'll see how long it will take for us to get our money back and if there's any problems. So far we have been very pleased. I told them in advance we were going to file in the future and they sent a form letter about modifying the policy which wasn't requested, They have since apologized and the claim is in transit.
Our travel insurance was fine until we had to use it. We missed our Turkish Air flight because the airline erroneously suspended our tickets (we had a set that was changed and refunded and another that was reinstated with full payment). Because we weren't allowed on the flight that still.had seats reserved in our name, we missed a 10 day safari in Tanzania. Our claim was denied because the flight wasn't cancelled. Even though we were cancelled, that didn't count! It was probably the letter of the law in insurance policy, but since we are out $42,000 we can't feel good about the company that we thought would protect our investment!

I was confused about the apps for the HTH insurance company (Apps: Geoblue & mPassport). I couldn't find a simple description regarding the purpose of each app, how to log into each app, and how to use each app. The fellow on the help line was not very helpful. He told me the App logins should be the same as my login for the HTH account, but that did not work. Also, couldn't really tell me what is Geoblue vs. HTH.
