I contacted a representative about not being able to go on the trip due to a health issue before we were scheduled to leave. I’ve heard nothing and wondering what is going on with the request to have my trip money returned and what I must do to bring this to a resolution. Apparently no one on your end must of ever looked into my claim since your sending me a request for how my trip went since I never left to go on the trip.
So what is going on with your end.
I never had utilized Nationwide before, but after my first experience with Nationwide, I will be sure to never use them again for any insurance purpose! I will keep it simple. An agent on the phone helped me at first, checked on things, and said I was good to go and was very pleasant and represented well. The next representee I delt with had a completely different outlook (and attitude), said the first representee was wrong, and demanded a series of documentation to proceed. This was not even a claim! I could only imagine what one would have to go through for an actual claim!! Buyer beware.
Was sent the form for trip delay due to cancelation of flight. Just looking to reimburse the hotel stay. Looks to be a complicated process to file this!! Wish me luck!
I will never purchase insurance from Nationwide again. Their customer service was lacking. They did not respond to emails. They could not be reached by phone. They were not knowledgeable about their product.

Should be able to see the claim process. Never got an email that it was processed, just a check that showed up in the mail.
Nationwide was very helpful with answering my questions and concerns before my trip departure. I felt confident enough with them to buy another policy for another upcoming trip.
I had to cancel my trip and I am still waiting to hear from Nationwide as they are reviewing my claim. I submitted all my information and the. They still asked for more.
11/16/25 KLM 606 SFO transfer 11/17/25 Amsterdam -Genova KLM 1645 land at 1:35 pm our baggages missing. Everything we packed for the cruise in the 2 luggages, we paid $75 each. NO carry - on, we didn't have extra cloth. Arrived Genova Italy, the weather was cold .
MSC Cruise sail From: 11/17/25 Genova - 11/20/25 Marseille France- 11/21/25 Barcelona Spain.
The baggages delivered to the ship on the fifth day at 5pm.
I Claimed :Baggages Delayed 5 Days. I needed reimbursement for our emergency essentials purchased. I submitted Nationwide Claim Form ,all related receipts, Airline Tickets , Airline baggage missing report and tracking tag on 12/08/2025. Please, help follow up and let me know. Thank you.
