I originally ordered my Nationwide travel policy without any rental car insurance. I later considered adding Nationwide's additional policy rider and had questions about that. I contacted Nationwide customer service and was very pleased, first, to speak with a real person (not a chatbot) and, second, it was a knowledgeable person. In the end I decided not to add on the rental car rider but my experience with the Nationwide customer service was very positive.

After filing our claim, it took about 2 weeks and we received reimbursement for 98% of our costs incurred due to a delay.
I contacted Nationwide on the second day of our trip because my husband slipped and fell at the resort and was injured.
I spoke to Rose and she reassured me and gave me information that helped me immensely. She also called me the following morning and made me feel cared for, which went a long way to ease (our) worries.
