Difficult claim process and no information back
Disappointed with the company. I needed to change the dates of the policy and to them it was a huge deal. Never had this issue with other companies. Eventually they adjusted my dates but it was an unnecessary hassle
Well the claim website don't work. Emailed my claim after my trip. Send over requested document a week later. No response from them ever since. It's been 2 months now. If they don't want to pay just say so. 🙄
I called and was supposed to get a claim number to start my claim process. I have yet to hear from you regarding this. I had a trip delay of over 24 hours. I have not heard about the claim yet. So far not very satisfied...
We submitted the claim the instant we we tested positive for Covid. We provided all the requested documents including the Doctor’s evaluation and diagnosis. It has been 2.5 weeks and we can’t even see the status of claim online. They say they are very backed up, but do not give us any timeline. We might want to purchase another trip now that we are healthy, but we can’t do so because we have not received the funds back.
The claim was a small claim for an additional expense we incurred due to trip delay. I fully documented to claim. Nationwide did compensate me for the entire amount of the claim. However, it took well over a month to do so.
Claim processing took way too long. Nearly 6 weeks before getting our refund.
We had a few setbacks on the trip however we was able to overcome them there was no need to file a claim But been on vacation and knowing that you have coverage was a great feeling it was all part of what made the whole experience great
