I opened my claims 5 days ago, but didn't get any indication that my claims have been looked or start to be processed
it is totally impossible to get to speak to an actual person. In attempting to file a claim I was bounced all over and never got the attention I needed only kept getting pointed to the online web site.
If a patient has been hospitalized, it can be very difficult to track down the physicians who treated someone in the hospital. Can your physician information page be filled in. Then uploaded once it is signed?

Fortunately, I did not need to file a claim. Nationwide assured me I was covered in the event the trip was cancelled due to COVID-19. I was skeptical. But this Questionnaire leads me to believe Nationwide would have honored their promise. This was the only travel agency I was able to speak with on the phone regarding purchasing coverage.
All was good. Just confirming that I could add daughter to policy. They explained criteria and she was added
I submitted a claim over a month ago and still have not gotten my claim attended to. I keep getting apology emails but this is unacceptable. I am out a lot of money and need to get this resolved. A company should not sell more policies than they have the staff to work on

I WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS. I SEE WHY THEY MAKE MONEY. IT TAKES 2 MONTHS BETWEEN A CORRESPONDENCE AND WHAT THEY ARE ASKING FOR IS REPETITIVE AND INSANE. IT WILL NEVER BE CLOSED. BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY. I LOST MONEY FROM MY TRIP AND PAID THESE PEOPLE MONEY AND ALL YOU GET IS IGNORED!!
When my travel destination changed, I contacted Nationwide to inquire about shifting my policy to cover the new locale. With a reasonable effort on my part, they agreed to keep the policy in place and even sent a rebate for the difference in cost between the two trips.
My trip was interrupted due to Covid and I have been trying to make a claim. There is no telephone number, only online claim service. I cannot successfully make a claim. DO NOT USE THIS TRAVEL INSURANCE -- it is a terrible experience.
All hotlines busy not being answered to call back in am, claims done online.
To buy insurance is very easy, but to claim one is extremely difficult and annoying. Not easy to download documents and at the end doesn't recognize my name. If this doesn't get resolved I will never buy travel insurance again
