    Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company policy: Prime

    CBP Connect processes the claim. Filed the claim on 11/17/21 and got automated acknowledgement. However, claim was not uploaded on cbp connect portal ever. Nationwide was no help. After 3.5months, finally the claim was processed and showed status on the cbp portal. Repeated inquiries on claim status were responded to using a standard email ... "Delay due to COVID and staffing issues.

    I would recommend that once a claim has been started and additional information is needed that you should be able to save your info and be able to add to your existing claim - review your claim as directed from the insurance company and then submit for processing,

    My laptop was removed by security personal while transiting Madrid Airport and they neglected to inform me. I wanted to file a claim for the cost of shipping of the laptop back to me. I have all the documentation. Ironically, laptops, cell phones, etc are excluded items as well as freight costs to ship it back to me. I find the company practices to be rather deceptive. I went through a great effort to get my laptop back, I would have thought shipment would be covered as well as theft.

    contacted Custom service and was instructed to use website as the Customer Service department was understaffed and overwhelmed with claims. Went on the Website CBPconnect.com and still gather information to complete the claim form. All comments I've read state not to expect a quick response. many customers have waited more than two weeks before they heard any updates, and on line status was never updated.

    It has been over 45 days and my trip interrupted claim has not been reviewed. A 2nd call at 30 days supposedly put priority on my claim, but 2 weeks later still no call and website has no information on my claim. The one pre trip and 2 post trip calls I was on hold for an hour.

    They are extremely difficult to contact. I filed my claim a month ago and it still isn't showing up on their website. I have tried to re-contact them both over email and calls and have had no luck.

    I called when I needed to to come home do to my son being on life support. I was told, while on my trip that I was fully covered under the policy. I was open about the details of why I had to return home and was assured I was covered. Now, on top of everything that has happened I am now told I am not covered. Only would have been covered if he had died????? Wow, so not satisfied!

    Very difficult to log in on the internet site. The Password disappeared when using the security question . Did not finish. I will have to call claim dept. to finish my claim.
