Customers generally have positive experiences with Nationwide’s customer service, praising agents for being helpful and easy to reach. However, some note that claims can take longer than expected to process, with delays in response times once a claim is filed.
What a pain in the behind. I sent 29 pages of requested information and they still denied my claim for a refund of the dive trip that I was unable to do because of a medical emergency. I had to submit a cancellation invoice showing that I did not receive a refund even though the first batch of information clearly stated that it was a non refundable trip. Also, since I foolishly stayed in a hotel instead of the hospital until I was well enough to fly, those costs were also denied.
Great economical and trustworthy.
Judith required emergency medical treatment on the cruise ship. She suffered a allergic reaction and went into ephalactic
shock.
Very helpful & very helpful
The claim process is somewhat cumbersome, but I can understand why. It is just when you are in a medical emergency, any added complexity is difficult.
Took little over a month to get reimbursement.
Squaremouth has always been good. I thought we would save some money and try Nationwide. They have a very poor customer service and claims departments.
I entered wrong start date and it was corrected
I have already started to make a claim so will update later. So far everything has gone really smooth. I had to call customer service before our trip, to alter a date, but that was done quickly and easily. They seem very helpful.
I added to the policy and was surprised that adding about $500.00, increased the policy cost so much. Apparently the $500.00 caused the policy go go into a higher 'bracket' which made the entire policy cost go up. Not fun to find that out after the original purchase.
