When I submitted the complain they sent me an email within a week for me to complete and provide an explanation and copy of receipts. Then maybe a week later I received another email asking the same thing and requesting receipts an a description of what happened; 10-12 days ago a lady called me saying that she needed an email from me explaining what happened along with receipts of my expenses and a picture of the damage suitcase I told her I did sent this twice already. Since then, I haven't heard back, I sent the email as she requested me to do and I don't know where my claim status is at this point.

Though I am not filing a claim, I am waiting to hear back from a representative about acquiring refunds for two policies that I thought I needed to purchased for my international travels. It turns out that the flight tickets that were purchased included travel medical insurance. I didn't find out until I received my tourist card at the ticket counter - I immediately contacted an agent from Nationwide and they said that all I had to do was send a returning email to the policy confirmation email stating that I am not filing a claim but I am requesting a refund before departure. I was told that everything should work out just fine because I did not leave the country yet.
I mailed everything. to file a claim. I still haven't heard anything almost a month later.

Very nice and easy to get coverage and great customer service
We contacted Nationwide as soon as we learned we would have to cancel our trip. We were furnished with forms, though we gave sufficient info to Nationwide by phone and now will have to have physicians in another town complete forms they do not want to be bothered with. The cancellation was because of emergency surgery (wife) and hospitalization.
I have contacted the air carrier and have been given credit so the claim will be limited to the lost rental of the condo and I was able to pay only one-half of the total rent.
In other words, with all of the efforts I have made, the claim should be much simpler than it is.
No criticism of Squaremouth, but would hope with its purchasing power it could simplify the claims process. I will use Squaremouth again.

I could barely breath in Asia and contacted your company about a possible early departure and no one ever replied.
Not happy with the service and will write a review and use a different company in the future.
