Many Arch RoamRight customers highlight the provider’s quick claims process and compassionate customer service representatives. However, some travelers report that updates on their claim status are rare, and gathering the needed documents for claims can be challenging.
Outcome was appreciated. But filling out the forms was cumbersome. After I submitted the forms I didn't hear from them at all until I received a check in the mail... even though I emailed a couple of times asking for an update.
Very easy process and payment received in a reasonable timeframe.

Overall, RoadRight was very good. I didn't give 5 stars for 2 reasons: (1) there was a few week delay between filing the claim and any sign of life. The amount of time to processing the claim was not an issue, and they were actually really fast, but some sign of life would have been appreciated; (2) They asked for a lot of additional information after filing the claim, which they could have asked for up front when they asked for some information together with the claim (or even better, it was information that really they should have just collected at the time the insurance was paid for before the trip). But once they had all the information they wanted, everything was very fast and easy.
Thank you for your review. Part of our claims process involves emails that alert you during each step of the process. These emails may have gotten trapped in your email’s spam filter. Additionally, we allow customers to log into their accounts and track the status of their claims. Also, not every claim is identical. There are cases where our claims examiner may request additional documentation after viewing the details of your claims.

I purchased the policy. Later I added more coverage. Then I was hospitalized and could not take our trip. I filed a claim and it was paid up to the policy limits.
Everything about the claim process occurred as it should have. I anticipated hassles and delays, but that did not occur. Therefore, the the entire process exceeded my expectations!

RoamRight processed the claim quickly, even though the airline was uncooperative in giving me all the information I needed. The online claim form was easy to use. Great experience. I would purchase travel insurance from them again.
I submitted a claim for an emergency room visit while in Costa Rica. It has been one week and I have not heard back from RoamRight, but this is a short turn around. I did telephone RoamRight to be sure they had my claim and the customer service rep was very courteous and friendly.
