    The best experience on a dissapointing cancelled trip. The Roam Right people were excellent in taking care of our case. Other companies delay and question trying to lower the benefit, not Roam Right.
    We will recommend your services to all our friends and family. Top shelf service!

    The company was just great no issues about the claim, in fact we just did another policy with them.

    Overall experience at this time is 5 star. We did have to file a claim for a lost iPhone 5S upon our return as it was lost on an excursion for a sunset cruise. I have filed the necessary paperwork to RoamRight, and we are awaiting completion of that claim.

    Based on our past experiences with SuareMouth and RoamRight we expect our overall rating of the purchase to remain a 5 star experience.

    Hours before our flight, my daughter became very ill. I called RoamRight's customer support line, and they let me know right away that I needed to cancel my flight with the airline and then file a claim with them.

    I filed my paperwork for my claim; it was approved 3 weeks later and I had my check within a couple days for the amount I was expecting. My only complaint was that I wish it had been a little shorter processing time, but overall, it was a great experience. I will be purchasing travel insurance from them again in the future!

    I had no dealings with RoamrRight when I purchased the insurance - only Squaremouth. When I couldn't travel because of a medical issue I filled out all the paperwork with RoamRight to get my claim money returned to me as well as my traveling compantion's, my sister. After quite an ordeal of paper filing I finally received a check for less than half the proper amount and my sister didn't receive any check. After SEVERAL phone calls to RR, the employee in their claims department who was handling our case said they'd cut a second check for the remainder of the claim money to both my sister and myself. My sister still hadn't received her first check. It turns out they'd mailed the checks to my winter address in Arizona with my sister's not being put in care of me. I assume her's was returned to RR. Eventually we both received our correct claim amounts. My major question about this whole process is WHY weren't we cut checks for the total claim amount the first time. We never received any explanation from them. And, secondly, why wasn't my sister's check sent directly to her. I hate to think they were trying to not return the total amount to us but it's either that or poor bookkeeping, because the proper amount was pretty clear on the forms I filled out.

    Purchasing the insurance was so very easy, unfortunately my husband required emergency surgery the week we were to travel for our 20th wedding anniversary trip.
    I wish we had received an email stating our claim was received and in process.
    Yesterday, we received the EOB's, however, nothing states how or when the payment will be issued. We do appreciate the insurance, and how quick the claim processed.
    We also wish we could have collected the entire cost of our trip, as now we will have to use the Cheap Caribbean credit for our next booking and they not be the best price or booking.

    My husband and I filed a claim regarding our early departure back to Utah due to terrorism that took place in Paris which was our next destination.
    We have provided details with expense receipts and are hopeful for our claim to be accepted and processed by Squaremouth.

    I filed a claim about 6 weeks ago. I had to contact Squaremouth's service of helping me with it because I never heard back from roamright. I received an email last week from Squaremouth stating that roamright has all of the necessary documents and that they are processing the claim. I still haven't heard from roamright since I first filed the claim. This is really taking way too long. I would hesitate using roam right again.

    There was a lot of back and forth with them about required documents. One email said my file was complete and I'd hear from them soon, while weeks later, another email said the file was incomplete. I also used Squaremouth's service that seemed it would help with the process, but they never forwarded to Roam right one of the documents I sent them, which caused further delays. In the end, everything worked out ok, but it was a much more tedious process than I thought necessary.

    I tried to file a claim but was told my reason for filing a claim was not covered. I had a panic attack due to claustrophobia after boarding my flight home, and had to get off the plane. Needing to buy a new ticket home the next day and an overnight stay at a hotel cost me $1000. Mental issues are not covered so be forewarned about this. This had never happened to me before, but you would think today that people would realize that physical and mental problems should. Be treated equally.
