It was amazing to personalize the type of travel insurance I wanted to purchase and get it at such a low rate. I was pick pocketed in Barcelona and missed my flight due to my passport being stolen. Turning in the claims for the expenses I incurred due to this event was very easy. The claim was handled quickly and I received a check in the mail promptly. Can't say enough good about this company. Highly recommend.
My wife was diagnosed with dementia prior to the trip. The travel agent was able to refund all but $500.00 of the cost of the trip. We filed a
claim and got $250.00 back for her. I guess you thought I would go by myself as my half was not returned.
Eventually my claim was resolved satisfactorily, but I submitted all the documents in support of my claim at the end of October 2018 and did not receive payment until Jan 2019, which I thought was an exessive amount of time for a straightforward mediical claim.
I purchased this policy for our trip specifically because it had the Cancel for Any Reason option, which your site made easy to screen for. We did have to cancel and I submitted my claim on 1/31/19. On 2/17/19, I received an email showing the reimbursement calculation for just myself. I replied to the email asking when I would get the reimbursement calculation for my husband, and did not get a reply. However, on 2/22/19, I received in the mail exact reimbursement of the promised 75% for both of us. So, despite the confusing email only addressing half of the claim, I am pleased.
I made a claim for a lost phone, the process was straight forward. Once supporting information was provided my claim was processed efficiently and without hassle. I will always buy insurance from roam right for any future trips.
It took a lot of redundant information and several phone calls to get it done. I am happy I got the money. It just should not be so hard.
Submitted claim immediately upon finding out that we would be unable to travel due to husband's hospitalization. Was told it would take up to thirty days to process. Three weeks into process received an e-mail that I had not responded to an e-mail I never received. Called and spoke with agent who said I needed to submit proof of cancellation with the travel company. I directed her back to the original documents that I had submitted and she found the pertinent documentation. They apologized for the oversight and immediately processed our claim. We received compensation within a few days. Very satisfied.
Really great assistance and resolve at the time of an emergency, in Southeast Asia. They took good care of us, keeping in contact as fast as possible. Claim was filed and easily resolved. Very satisfied with this particular experience with Arch RoamRight.
