Many Arch RoamRight customers highlight the provider’s quick claims process and compassionate customer service representatives. However, some travelers report that updates on their claim status are rare, and gathering the needed documents for claims can be challenging.
Because I suffered a stroke in March we were unable to make the trip, and in need of a refund on our air reservation money. It was a little challenging as I had originally made all the contacts but was unable to follow through because of my medical condition. As a result my travel companion had to deal with the insurance, and she was met with professionalism and we received our refund in a timely fashion. I'd certainly recommend Roam Right to other travelers.
I have just filed my claim with roamright, and I will know more as to how they handle my claim in the next few days. I will update you later.
The travel part has been claimed and we have been reimburse the entire amount. We are now waiting for medical bills to come in.

RoamRight received the claim on 3-16-2015. I did not receive a check until 5-2-2015. Other than the long delay in receiving my check I am happy with RoamRight.
My wife and I bought RoamRight travel policies via Squaremouth in anticipation of a prepaid Safari. Approximately 2 weeks before our scheduled departure, I wound up in the emergency room and was subsequently advised not to make the trip. We cancelled those reservations that we could but the fee for the Safari was not refundable and we incurred expenses in canceling flights. As a result, we were out a substantial amount.
I submitted my claim, provided the backup RoamRight requested, and was paid in full in accordance with the policy. In my view, the test of insurance is how the company responds to claims and I am pleased to report that RoamRight responded exactly as it promised.
I hope RoamRight will insure my next trip.
I have not heard a word about my claim - not a yes, no or I need more information. It would be nice if there would be some form of communication - it was received, it is process, it was denied. Am I asking to much?
To early to rate your company. I am waiting for feedback from a claim that I filed due to a cancelled flight as a result of an east coast storm and airport closure.
RoamRight was extremely helpful in filing the claim. The process went very smoothly and they informed us immediately on receiving our claim that it was in process. It was processed that same day and we received our check the next week! Great service and we are using them for our next trip!!! Very Happy!!!
