    We were unable to make our trip due to a death in our family. Filing the claim was easy and processed far quicker than I thought it would happen. I would use RoamRight again for travel insurance!

    I did not get to make my trip due to medical emergency. I was pleased with the help I received from Customer Service with filing my claim. I have not received my reimbursement check yet, but hope to in the very near future.

    I did not understand that delayed baggage reimbursement was only to cover expenses related to the delay. If I had, then I would have have felt it would be okay to make purchases rather than try and avoid them., I could have traveled by taxi (2 round trips) rather than walk ( at least 10 total miles) . This not only took time away from travel experiences but caused a blistering foot in my dress shoes. (needed a trip local pharmacy for foot issue--did not submit that bill) I could have purchased walking shoes but felt the baggage would be delivered sooner than it was.-again a purchase I avoided. Next time I will not hesitate to include any necessary item--After speaking with the Roam Right agent I now understand all reimbursements are strictly for purchases, never for inconveniences or missing out on travel tours to accept baggage delivery . I will be sure to read the fine print and be a better informed traveler. The Roam Right agent was courteous and did responded to my phone request promptly and I appreciated that very much.

    Due to an unforeseen medical situation, I was forced to cancel a rafting trip that I had planned for my family of three. To file my claim, I simply provided documentation about the trip expenses and my medical issues. RoamRight sent a check about a month or so later. No problems!
