My baggage was delayed by approx 24 hours when I returned from my trip. I called RoamRight's 24 hour line as soon as I realized that I wasn't going to get my luggage back within 12 hours, and they told me that I needed to call in during regular business hours in order to file a claim because they couldn't do it and I couldn't do it - this turns out to have been a lie because when I called back again the next day they told me to file the claim online and provided a web address I could have just visited the day before. I filed the claim online and attached all the supporting documents, then did not hear back from RoamRight at all for two weeks so I had to email them asking for a status update. The website claims they will respond to emails within 24 hours but I received no response, and so I emailed them again to asked a second time for a status update. I then called them to find out what was going on and they claimed I had been emailed a response the day before and to check my spam folder. I checked my spam folder and there was no email from them, I did multiple searches in my inbox for any emails from "RoamRight" and there were none. The operator said he would ask the claims adjuster to re-send the email. I asked if they could forward the original email sent so that I could confirm it was sent yesterday. The operator would not agree to do so and just said they will send it today, which makes me think it was never sent yesterday. At this time I am still waiting for an email from RoamRight. It has been two weeks and three days.

According to our communication records with you, it appears that you inadvertently filed a claim with another travel insurance provider when you meant to file a claim with RoamRight. We have yet to receive a completed RoamRight claim form from you.

We did not go on our trip as I developed a hernia and my doctor did not want me to go out of the country. We have filed a claim and are waiting on the results.

They processed the claim and refunded our money within the 30 day time period that they promised.
Prompt response once I found correct Customer Serbice no.
Delays when Travel Co. did not forward docs to RoamRight, so necessitated my copying all relevant docs.
Payment of full claim completed in ~30 days after first contact with RR.
My trip was canceled due to illness. All monies were refunded.
You send me an email saying that you hope I enjoyed my trip. That’s too funny as my first plane broke down and we were unable to make our connections and could not get to the cruise ship before it left the port. And I have not heard anything else from you about my trip. I don’t even know if all the claim info was good.

A person gets travel insurance to cover the cost if for some reason you are unable to make the trip you can get some if not all your money back. For some crazy reason when having the plane break down it makes it to where you cannot get to your connecting flight prior to your cruise ship leaves the port is not covered is beyond me. Someone literally needs to die or get sick for you to get your money back. What a rip off. Over $4,000 gone and I was “insured”. I will Never make this mistake again by going here.

My wife needed an emergency root canal in Budapest. RoamRight customer service helped us find an excellent dentist there, we set up the appointment, and my wife had her surgery within a day. Our vacation was saved! RoamRight also processed and paid our claim quickly. We're very pleased.
We had suitcase damage and a lost IPad for which I filed a claim. We are still waiting.
