Many Arch RoamRight customers highlight the provider’s quick claims process and compassionate customer service representatives. However, some travelers report that updates on their claim status are rare, and gathering the needed documents for claims can be challenging.
It took them nearly three months to process my claim, which seemed to me to be really excessive; and when I twice emailed them to inquire about its progress, I never received any answer. When I first filed the claim I received a form reply stating that it had been received, and then about three weeks later I received the same reply again, as if they had just discovered it. I really doubted I would ever hear from them about a resolution. In the end they did pay the claim, so at least there's that.

I am starting to get the feeling the RoamRight is a scam. Whenever I contact them about my claim, they tell me it is in final review. It has now been over three months since my wife's accident and I cannot get a straight answer from RoamRight. They leave you on hold forever and then refuse to connect you to someone that has a real answer. I have tried emailing and those they totally ignore. I will not use them again!!

The claim process was very fair and I was paid fully for my claim. They told me upfront what to send and unlike some claims, I did not receive constant requests for additional information. When I tried to check on the claim, I was simply told it was in process. I wish that they had done a better job of communicating. Overall, I am very pleased and would definitely purchase their insurance for my next trip.

I have sent them the same information numerous times. They continue to ask for the same information over and over to stall payment. Their mode of operation is to stall payment through customer frustration and delays.
We did not go on this trip. We postponed using the policy until October 2019

Clear with concise information and responses to my questions
Filing the claim was simple. My only issue was that I waited for two weeks after filing a claim to get an update, and got none until I called.
Email went unanswered. However, once I phoned in I was able to get an update in short order.
Overall, a positive experience.
The trip we insured was cancelled by the cruise company, Crystal. I called RoamRight about this, but they would not refund my payment of about $1600.00. However, I did receive confirmation that I could use that credit for insurance on a future trip, which will work well for us. They were very accommodating about the cancellation.
I will continue to use your products for my yearly trips.
Well...other than taking out the insurance and paying for it, I cannot comment at this time until I file the claim and see how that goes. The insurance you offer is secondary to my other insurance so I am waiting for a form from Medicare to file a claim with them, which will be denied, then filing a claim with Premera and after they do something then I will file with you if there is any balance owing. Then I can probably tell you about my experience with your company.
