    The organization in China that had invited the group to teach English there canceled the classes at the last minute and told us not to come. The trip had to be canceled so that we lost the entire value of the airline ticket. RoamRight will not cover any of the losses. They rejected the claim entirely. The reason we purchased travel insurance was because of the unpredictable nature of dealing with China, but this appears to have been a waist as the insurance will do nothing.

The terms of trip cancellation coverage are explained in the policy documents that you received when you purchased your policy. We also give you a 14-day money back guarantee to refund your money if you find the policy does not sufficiently meet your needs.

    Our claims are reviewed and adjudicated based on the terms and conditions of the policy. While the policy you purchased provides cancellation coverage for a variety of unforeseen events, cancelled classes is not one of the reasons.

    I filed our claim more than two weeks ago and have not heard a peep from Roamright. The Customer Service rep. did send forms but did not answer my questions as to how I should file for a medical claim for our covered daughter paid for by my covered wife as part of the 6 person policy I had purchased.

    I am quite frustrated at this point.

    I needed to change dates and later update the amount paid and I just had to call which was very easy! The only suggestion I have is to be able to put down the deposit amount and then the total cost of trip at the beginning. It would make it a bit easier for customer to select a policy. First payment on deposit amount and then later, the full amount.
