Arch RoamRight provides two easy-to-understand policies on Squaremouth: Pro and Pro Plus. These plans are great for families because they cover one child under 18 for each adult insured.
See how Arch RoamRight compares to other providers on Squaremouth in customer satisfaction and service quality:
*The overall customer rating is the average of all reviews for the provider since they joined the marketplace.
Many Arch RoamRight customers highlight the provider’s quick claims process and compassionate customer service representatives. However, some travelers report that updates on their claim status are rare, and gathering the needed documents for claims can be challenging.
I’ll continue to use and recommend RoamRight as my favorite travel insurance.
Sue fell in Dublin, Ireland, and a couple days later, diagnosed with a complex fractured right patella in the emergency room in Tralee, Ireland . She had to urgently, tho not as an critical emergency, return home for surgery, with her husband (me) as an aide during transportation to and from the airport and while on the airplane, non-stop from Dublin to San Francisco.
I was told by the person from SquareMouth that I did not need to contact RoamRight or file a claim until I was home, and after Sue's surgery. She is home recovering from the surgery, and I will collect all the necessary paperwork and file a claim as soon as she no longer needs my daily support now at home.
Though I have had, at this point, minimal contact with RoamRight, it has been helpful and positive. Hopefully filing the claim, and getting re-imbursement will not be complicated. At that time I will be more able to comment on RoamRight.
Thank you for your review. We hope the recovery is going well.

We did not go on our trip as I developed a hernia and my doctor did not want me to go out of the country. We have filed a claim and are waiting on the results.

They processed the claim and refunded our money within the 30 day time period that they promised.
Had no problems so hard to rate what experience would have been if an issue had occurred.
Prompt response once I found correct Customer Serbice no.
Delays when Travel Co. did not forward docs to RoamRight, so necessitated my copying all relevant docs.
Payment of full claim completed in ~30 days after first contact with RR.
My trip was canceled due to illness. All monies were refunded.
You send me an email saying that you hope I enjoyed my trip. That’s too funny as my first plane broke down and we were unable to make our connections and could not get to the cruise ship before it left the port. And I have not heard anything else from you about my trip. I don’t even know if all the claim info was good.

A person gets travel insurance to cover the cost if for some reason you are unable to make the trip you can get some if not all your money back. For some crazy reason when having the plane break down it makes it to where you cannot get to your connecting flight prior to your cruise ship leaves the port is not covered is beyond me. Someone literally needs to die or get sick for you to get your money back. What a rip off. Over $4,000 gone and I was “insured”. I will Never make this mistake again by going here.

The claim process was very clearly laid out on the company web site. The required forms were easy to understand and to submit electronically.
The adjustment process was fairly rapid, being concluded with a month of submittal. There was one request for additional or clarifying information.
Although no one wants to have their trip interrupted for medical reasons, I found RoamRight’s process to be very fair and I would recommend their insurance to future travelers.
We didn't file a claim but we did have to adjust the effective dates of our policy because of changes in our travel plans. This was easy to do with a quick call to customer service.
I have always been pleased with the customer service as well as the products of Roamright, hence, I alwsys rely on them for travel coverage.
