My wife needed an emergency root canal in Budapest. RoamRight customer service helped us find an excellent dentist there, we set up the appointment, and my wife had her surgery within a day. Our vacation was saved! RoamRight also processed and paid our claim quickly. We're very pleased.
We had suitcase damage and a lost IPad for which I filed a claim. We are still waiting.
I talked to the customer service people twice when I was contemplating making a claim before I left. They could not have been nicer, and when half of my trip was cancelled they gave me a partial refund on my premium. The tour company finally resolved the issue and so I am not going to be making a claim, but I am very happy that I bought your insurance instead of the insurance offered by the tour at twice the price. Yours is a good product which gave me what I needed but didn't duplicate what I already had with my health insurance. Thank you.
We were not able to go on our trip due to my wife needing to have back surgery. This sort of event was covered under the policy. RoamRight paid us for the cost of the tickets, right to the penny, and there were no other expenses connected with the trip. I may have interacted with their 24 assistance to begin with, but cannot remember. I received a claim number and representative the day after filing the claim, and was dealing with the claim representative during their normal business hours via email and one direct phone call thereafter.
Now that I understand how the process works, e.g. what is required from me, should I have to file a claim at some point in the future it would not be difficult to do so in a timely manner.
I gave 5 stars for the nice service in the purchase of insurance. But the real test is if/when a person needed to use it. I/we didn't have to.
So unable to rate it until one would actually have to put a claim in. Let's say, it's a comfort to have it and not use it. But proof would be after one had to use it.
We appreciated the convenient on-line way to purchase our policy and will consider using RoamRight again when we travel overseas.
I will be fling flight delay/cancelation and baggage delay. So far the process is a bit complex as I gather the data Roamright requests.
I am currently waiting for airline verification of baggage delay to complete the fling.

I requested a cancellation of my insurance due to health problems. I supplied all the information requested, and never received a reply, either yes or no, even though I contacted them by email many times. I finally gave up and considered it a lost cause (and lost money!) and I did not (could not) go on the cruise.
