I don't know about Squaremouth but I will never purchase another travel insurance policy through them because of Roamright. It should not take 4 weeks just to look at a claim that is unacceptable. Its been 3 1/2 weeks since I filed and I was told they have not even looked at the claim before 4 weeks and once they get to the claim they will contact me to let me know if any additional information is needed to process the claim. It didn't take them 4 weeks to process my payment when they issued the policy. Squaremouth and Roamright you have to do better than this. For my next trip I know where not to get coverage from.

Not Impressed with Roam Right took a long time on hold to get to a customer assistance person, they were not very helpful and I am still waiting to see if they will honor my claim. Would not use them again

There was a pending cyclone Gita threatening NZ at the time we were suppose to take our trip. I called Roam Right to seek advice. They helped me to understand what to do if and when Gita would encounter NZ. Very helpful.
The representative sent me the forms I need for the doctor to complete. We are in the process of trying to fill our needed paperwork. We did not take our trip.
I thought I would have a baggage delay situation and called the insurance carrier. She immediately took my information and said she would still email the claim just in case I decided to file one. She was very courteous, pleasant, professional and made me feel assured that any problems would be addressed. I truly appreciated that. I would recommend RoamRight based on my experience.

We faxed our claim a few days ago. We are waiting to hear from Roam Right.
I didn't have to file a claim with Roamright, but the customer service department was good in answering my questions. I have also purchased travel insurance from Square Mouth twice before and had to file a claim once which was processed smoothly by the previous insurer.
We did not have our policy and insurance cards, we are in Florida for 3 months did not have our printer, so they sent all our stuff to the campground we were camping at. Customer service was great, we have used squaremouth and roamright before we will use again . I suggest that anyone cruising should consider travel insurance, we were on a cruise with emergency stop and saw the helicopter land to take someone to the main land . My wife and I figured that would cost a lot , we have purchased the travel insurance ever since.
