I waited quite a while and didn’t hear from them so finally I called them. They told me the claim would be reviewed. In a few more weeks they sent me an email showing the amount I would receive and a couple of weeks later I received their checks; one for my husband and one for me. So yes, I am satisfied.
Our travel arrangements were canceled with out our knowledge and one bag was delayed 24 hours.

Still waiting from the cruise line for one piece of documentation in order to submit the claim. Can more realistically evaluate the insurer as to the handling of the claim when all paperwork has been submitted.

The medical benefits of travel insurance are designed to provide coverage for emergency treatment received while on your trip. Your ID card lists the contact information for our international assistance center. If you had called them immediately after the incident, they could have directed you to a reputable medical facility that would have been able to provide any needed vaccinations or wound care. In this instance, such care would have been covered by your travel insurance policy.
Consistent with travel insurance industry practice, any medical care sought after returning home is not covered by travel insurance.

Insurance representative was very helpful in answering my questions and concerns about the policy I purchased. The actual
policy was easy to download from my lap top. I carried a copy of it on our trip and recorded the companies phone contacts into
my mobile phone for easy reference if needed. The trip went smoothly and without incident and no claims were filed.
