    Excellent Customer Service when inquiring about emergency plans during a 3 week UK trip. Ended up not needing the insurance but was confident that i knew what to do and that it would be covered.

    RoamRight IT systems do not recognize my old Prodigy.net email account. Therefore, after I purchased the policy through Squaremouth, five or six days passed and I had not received a confirmation from RoamRight. So I called them and the rep sent me the ID cards and confirmation of the policy coverage through her private email account. This had happened in a previous trip also.

    It seems RoamRight should adjust their computer systems so that older email extensions are recognized by their computers so I don't have to call to complete my insurance application with them. Once abroad, it is likely their computers would also not recognize prodigy.net emails from me which might cause difficulties in a real crisis.

    RoamRight was easy to deal with. My claim was for an extra hotel charge and other expenses caused by a delayed connecting flight. While RoamRight's first notice of resolution of the claim had the wrong amount. I emailed them pointing out the discrepancy and they corrected it promptly. Only thing left is for them to send us the check.

    Arch RoamRight policy: Essential

    My flight to Iceland was cancelled, causing me to miss my next flight to France and losing a day of a prepaid tour. I had purchased a RoamRight Essential policy and when I returned home I filed a claim for the missed day. I filed a lot of supporting documentation with the claim. My claim was honored and I had a check within a few weeks.

    Our luggage did not arrive with us. They contacted the airlines on our behalf and were in touch daily until we finely received it four days later.

    Word trickery in the policy was used to under-compensate my losses.

    When a traveler purchases a RoamRight travel insurance policy, they receive a confirmation email that includes their Confirmation of Benefits as well as the Description of Coverage for the plan purchased, which we encourage all travelers to read.

    Within the Description of Coverage, benefit limits and benefit definitions are clearly outlined. Claims examiners must administer payment based on the limits and definitions in the Description of Coverage.
