They paid my claim. However the process was slow and the communication was poor.
Our flight was cancelled for 2 days departing for Florence, Italy and then again for 2 days on the return trip to JFK. We lost 2 nights in our Villa. As a group of 4 couples, we are still accumulating and reviewing shared invoices. Obviously, this is not the fault of your company, and I have not interacted with AXA since we returned.
We did not use the insurance we purchased, but we had an incident where we might have needed it. It was reassuring to know that we had something to help us out if needed.

When I tried to call them, I got no answer and no return call. I had to have some emergency blood work. I did it and paid for it. But I wanted to know if it were covered. I got no answer for days. I have no idea how they act in a real emergency but I was NOT impressed by their inaccessability.
We decided to change the amount of days we're gone. It was simple and an easy process to make the change
Just waiting for my claim to be evaluated. Getting a hold of them was a little tricky and a wait on the phone but nothing excessive.
I submitted the claim 2 weeks ago and the rep was very nice, helpful and professional.

Had a nasty fall while hiking and lost both my hearing **** in the fall. Checked my policy and found that it did not cover loss of glasses or hearing ****. Called the AXA Assistance line just to confirm. Call was answered quickly. Assistant was very friendly and helpful, but did confirm that the hearing **** were not covered. I don’t know if other companies cover these losses, but I suspect that these items need to be insured separately. So, just an FYI for other travelers.
