Squaremouth Updates Travelex Peru Information

If you are hold a Travelex policy through Squaremouth, please note the following info regarding the Peru earthquake: 

Medex, the Travel Plus and TraveLite emergency travel assistance provider, has been monitoring the situation in Peru closely since the earthquake event. There have been no calls from any Travelex policy holders in Peru, nor have there been any calls from concerned family members trying to locate travelers in Peru.  Our information indicates that the Lima airport is open to air traffic and the tsunami warning has been lifted. Medex advises that any travelers in Peru who need travel assistance or information should call the Medex emergency number collect at 410-308-2903.  Any travelers’ family members who are unable to locate a family member or need information concerning the travel conditions in Peru should call either the Medex toll-free assistance line at 1-866-866-8155 (within the US/Canada) or call the Medex emergency assistance number collect at 410-308-2903. If you have any questions concerning the Medex travel assistance services, please call the Travelex Customer Service Center at: 1-800-228-9792.
