On a case-by-case scenario, the travel insurance provider may pre-certify payments for your hospital admittance and treatment, as well as any necessary transportation.
For policies that include Trip Interruption coverage, travelers may receive reimbursement for trip expenses that went unused while they received treatment, or if they were medically transported home.
