What if I’m too scared to travel due to the recent terrorist attacks in Paris?

Last Updated:

Choosing not to travel due to fear is not a covered reason within the Trip Cancellation benefit. In order to be covered to cancel your trip due to fear of traveling, we recommend the Cancel For Any Reason benefit.

The Cancel For Any Reason benefit provides reimbursement for non-refundable trip payments and deposits if a trip is cancelled for any reason that is not specifically listed within the policy. This benefit is available as an upgrade on some policies.

In order to be eligible for Cancel For Any Reason, travelers must purchase the policy within 14-30 days of their first trip payment and insure 100% of their prepaid and non-refundable trip costs. Cancel For Any Reason provides up to 75% reimbursement for your trip cost, and requires that you cancel at least 2-3 days prior to departure.
