    I filed a claim - had to concel my trip . Injuries filled documented with doctors notes and they filled out the forms - no response from Nationwide other than we busy and this could take 60 days.

    Due to sickness of my non travelling spouse and Covid to me I had to cancel my trip. Filed a claim with Nationwide Mutual but they have not responded yet.
    I am not sure what is going on with the claim.

    Thank goodness I did not have to file a claim but I did try to interact with customerservice. They were impossible to reach by phone and it took approximately 6 to 8 weeks to get a response via email. I would never use this company again.

    Virtually impossible to reach via phone or email. Terrible customer service. Understaffed. I would not use them again. What good is travel insurance if you can’t reach your insurance company?

    Awful, long wait times for processing claim. Ended up denying my claim even though I provided evidence that I had to cut my trip short to attend to my parents who had been diagnosed with COVID last summer. Nationwide should be ashamed of themselves. No compassion whatsoever, just nitpicking and denying. Total waste of my time and money. Buyer beware. Don’t waste your money on this policy. They will deny your claim.

    I became Ill and we did not travel. A claim was filed as per the instructions and to date has not been acknowledged or responded to. I am very dissatisfied with the policy and service.

    it is totally impossible to get to speak to an actual person. In attempting to file a claim I was bounced all over and never got the attention I needed only kept getting pointed to the online web site.

    My trip was interrupted due to Covid and I have been trying to make a claim. There is no telephone number, only online claim service. I cannot successfully make a claim. DO NOT USE THIS TRAVEL INSURANCE -- it is a terrible experience.

    My laptop was removed by security personal while transiting Madrid Airport and they neglected to inform me. I wanted to file a claim for the cost of shipping of the laptop back to me. I have all the documentation. Ironically, laptops, cell phones, etc are excluded items as well as freight costs to ship it back to me. I find the company practices to be rather deceptive. I went through a great effort to get my laptop back, I would have thought shipment would be covered as well as theft.

    This policy is a complete sham and you should be shut down for flim flamming customers, I will tell EVERY traveler I know to never but trip ins, it's all a scam. You people should be ashamed but I know you're not.
