When inquiring about additional car rental insurance I made 3 phone calls to carrier with little or no help. I finally called Square Mouth and all was taken care of.

I didn't speak to a representative while booking my insurance. The website was simple to use and finding what I needed seemed easy enough.

During Trip
Fortunately, I did not have to use the insurance while on my trip. Therefore, I cannot rate the services.

We had to cancel our trip due to death in the family.
Thus far, we have heard nothing back from the insurance company TravelSafe. We have had to initiate everything. Our claim has not yet been resolved. We have heard nothing. We are NOT impressed with this carrier and we will not use them again.

During Trip
Having used Squaremouth before, I felt confident that any situation that we might encounter (we were in Iceland on glacier hikes) would be covered. Also, there are several policies that offer trip cancellation for ANY REASON. Although we did not purchase that policy, it is a great option for situations where unexpected events can result in a cancellation.

I had a most wonderful trip and was thankful that I did not have to make a claim, but felt secure that I could have filed easily if necessary.

Very personable young man assisted me with the transaction. Not only was he polite and knowledgeable, but also spoke clearly and distinctly even though he was from a country other than mine own. Too many sales people who work via a phone simply cannot be understood, even when we supposedly speak the same language. No problem with this agent though!

Cannot comment about the above as , thankfully, there was no need to use the services for which we paid.

I provided detailed information, and felt the claim was valid. Travelsafe paid the claim in full, more quickly than I expected. I would use Travelsafe again for travel insurance.
