EVERYONE I deal with at HTH was knowledgeable and understanding -- and Professional. They were a pleasure to work with. I immediately referred them to my son who is traveling abroad and bought a policy.
Yes i would definitely recommend this policy with HTH to any traveler. I choose this rating because when setting up the policy there were some organizational issues from HTH site to get the policy to the correct travel cost amount. I had to call several times to get my upcharge taken care of after my cost went up.

Was given the wrong claim information to where to sent claim to. Spent $10 on copies and fax. Checked In after a week of not hearing anything not even a receipt via email. Found out that no one knew about my claim. Was transferred four times u til I reached the “correct person”
That person ensured me my claim was definitely covered if I resent all info. Spent $10 again to fax all documents then emailed it and just got an email that nothing of my trip delay was covered! Hey do I purchase Insurance if unforeseen circumstances are not covered??! I’m disappointed. I will make sure people know not purchase this non-sense insurance coverage. I’m a travel blogger so I’m sure I’ll reach many clients. Unacceptable
I have had the GeoBlue insurance for a number of years so it was easy to go to HTH for my other insurance needs. The agent was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in what I needed. Thank you. Luckily, we had no problems on the trip.
Good customer service
My pre-trip experience with HTH was just fine. Since I did not need to file any claims, I can not review their claims handling.
I called the assistance line. My Mother was in the hospital in critical condition. I wanted assistance on getting a flight home. They said they dont do that.
What does Insurance cover?????
The person I eventually spoke to was pleasent and professional. However, to get to her, I was on hold with several people for quite some time. The wait was a nuisance. This description is "as I recall." In other words, the interaction was a while back, and the above is my best recollection. I cannot say that I am 100% sure about accuracy.
