    I did not have to file a claim with Seven Corners. However before purchasing the policy I called them to ask a question about their coverage and they were very helpful.

    They were very easy to communicate with. Answered my questions in a timely fashion. I was able to apply my purchased policy for a cancelled trip to another planned trip for next year. I purchased an additional policy for a recent trip. I had many questions which they were very responsive to.

    horrible experience, the team lies to me about what was covered under “cancel anytime.” I am now out 1,000 dollars. This was a total scam
    and one of the worst experiences I have had with a company in years. I have been in touch with the better business bureau regarding the misinformation and deception.

    I unexpectedly needed to extend my trip by a week and first contacted Squaremouth about how to do that. A prompt and thorough response from a Squaremouth staff member advised me to contact Seven Corners; and the two people there were a pleasure to deal with during a stressful time.
    Through the Seven Corners chat feature, I learned that I needed to purchase a new policy; and I was quickly connected to one of their sales reps who guided me through the process and made sure that I was getting the policy I wanted without trying to sell me more than I needed. All for a very reasonable price.
    I am very pleased with the friendly and utterly professional service from Squaremouth and Seven Corners and will definitely refer friends to them, as well as work with both of them in future. Thank you!

    If Squaremouth hadn’t been recommended to me I wouldn’t have known where to begin! The policy I chose was described fully and clearly. I only contacted customer service to be certain of the description to validate the information.

    We did not travel due to Covid. Our destination was changed to “do not travel” by the CDC and State Department. The insurer did not permit us to cancel or change the dates of coverage to a later trip even though because of the designation, the policy would not have provided medical evacuation, which was a key reason for our purchase.

    Thank goodness I had contacted Seven Corners to get more specifics on how to file a claim for Cancel for Any Reason before we decided we would cancel our trip to Hawaii. The policy is very vague - it states I need to file a claim for Cancel for Any Reason 2 days in advance of the trip starting. It took multiple chat sessions through the Seven Corners website (each fully documented) to get specifics and the correct form to file the claim. Not a single answer came easily from Seven Corners rep. It was like pulling teeth.

    1.) be SURE you create an account on Seven Corners and link the policy you purchased so you can view the policy and have access to all documents / information. Make a screen shot of an active page showing your linked policy - be sure the top of the screen is in the shot (date, time) . You may need this (see below).

    2.) For Cancel for Any Reason - the policy states you need to file 2 days before your trip. Very vague.
    Reality: You have to file - with proof of all cancellations completed and confirmed (transportation, lodging, tickets, et al), by 12:01 AM Eastern Standard Time 2 days before your trip - regardless of where you purchased your policy or where your trip starts.

    3.) Even though I was initially able to access my account on Seven Corners, I could not find the forms necessary to file a claim for Cancel for Any Reason. So I did a chat. Actually, it took 3 separate chats before I was able to get the correct document sent to me. You have to figure out the questions to ask the agent - they are NOT going to help you. And be SURE you check the document / form that you need to file via DocuSign. Be sure it specifically says it for Cancel for Any Reason and that option is checked. Do NOT use a form where " Trip Cancellation" is checked. Again - be careful!

    Thank goodness Im analytical and detailed oriented, otherwise I would have filed the wrong forms with the wrong information.

    NOTE: I filed a claim for "Cancel for Any Reason" on 8/22/21 at 8:26pm PDT.

    I have been trying to log back into the Seven Corners website to check on my claim - but was no longer was able to view my policy. I alerted Seven Corners to this issue - and tonight my claim was finally visible. I can see that my Cancel for Any Reason claim is documented.

    I need to wait for another 3 weeks to find out about my claim as it is processed......
