    I gave Seven Corners five stars, but this is only related to the process of purchasing a policy. Quick! Easy!

    During my recent trip I sent an email to Seven Corners after all my cash was stolen from a safe in my hotel room. They confirmed that stolen cash was not covered by my policy, which is, of course, disappointing. My impression remains that purchasing travel insurance is fast and easy, but almost nothing that goes wrong on a trip -short of a dire emergency or a medical crisis - is ever covered. They also offered no advice or help after I contacted them.

    I would rate travel insurance in general with only one star.

    Hi There!

    I made 3 claims. The communication was pretty smooth except that the payment process is very very delayed. It was approved then I didn't receive payment for over a month now, I had to contact customer service again via email, I was asked to send more documents in, it's been a week now and still no update on payment. Also, I'm not sure why the medical travel claim forms doesn't have a section to fill out the expenses like the regular travel interruption form.

    We were sick almost the whole time on the cruise. My wife has Pneumonia. We knew we had to get home for bedrest. We had ***** with us to help. She was hospitalized as soon as we got to Wenatchee. We never got to our house that day. We were in our home town on January 31st. Our trip insurance ran out at midnight of that day. We were within our trip time period. To disqualify us because we did not see the ship's doctor or we got to the ER on the last day of our insurance isn't right. This was a cruise from ****. Please help us. Thanks. Mark from WA
