I purchased it more than a year before the trip, so I didn’t have firm dates at the time. She helped me figure out the details of the policy even though I didn’t have solid travel dates at the time of purchase.
Unfortunately, COViD forced me to cancel the trip. Luckily I was able to cancel the trip early enough to be able to receive a refund from the travel company.

My wife had to go to the ER while we were traveling. We contacted the insurance company and were told to pay out-of-pocket, which we did. A few days after we returned, we were contacted by Tin Leg and they set up a brief phone meeting and walked us through the process to submit the claim. We uploaded our invoices and a check came about a week later. We were very satisfied - it was totally hassle-free.

The only reason we contacted them again before our departure was because we shortened the number of travel days. We wanted to be sure everything matched. The call took about 5 minutes and an updated policy was e-mailed immediately. We have used Tin Leg for many trips and they always deliver great service.
