December 10, 2013dissapointed from FL Verified Squaremouth CustomerWas this review helpful to you?I purchased the higher plus policy only to find out that a claim for a parents parent/step parents death can only be made if they die in the usa, canada or Mexico! Anywhere else and your out of luck with this policy type /provider. Be sure they die in a qualified country ! Very disappointed as I had chosen this policy specifically for the cancel for any reason option.

I will definitely use Squaremouth if travel insurance is needed in the future. It definitely allowed for peace of mind knowing we had proper insurance coverage. Thank you for the ease of application and printing of doc for our trip.

We checked with our local health insurer before buying this policy from Squaremouth. Our insurer said we would be covered but that we would have to pay the provider first, submit claim forms and wait for their payment. With Squaremouth we felt good knowing that any claim we might have would be paid then and there.
