    They we’re extremely helpful and caring. I had a totally unexpected medical emergency that prevented us from making the trip that is covered by the policy.
    I feel we were dealt with honestly with compassion and caring.

    Filing the claim for Cancelation Insurance was easy, documentation requirements were clear, and we were able to provide everything. Claim was paid in full within 2 weeks of initial filing.

    Starting a claim with Generali was easy. Following up with the various requirements was amazingly onerous. A couple times I was asked to provide the same information. From start to finish (and I did not delay more than a day between receiving a request and providing the info) it took 162 days! My situation was a major delay due to a diverted flight, originally going from SFO to FRANKFURT. We were diverted to Iceland because the crew timed out.

    For any claim, be sure to keep your RECEIPTS AND CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS! Depending on the source you will need one or the other or BOTH. Please review your trip delay coverage, you might be limited to $150 to $200 per day. This does not cover the cost in any major city.

    I was very happy with both the policy obtained from Generali and using SquareMouth to purchase the policy. I expect to purchase similar policies again. The only open issue is how will Generali perform if I ever have to file a claim. I do like that I was able to filter reviews so that I was able to look at only those which involved a claim.

    my wife did break her collar bone. she received stabilizing care for her should ex-rays, an arm slinge, no other service
    we are waiting for an itemized statement from the emergency room, so that we can submit to our primary Insurance and then the residual to you.
    it is my understanding that we have to pay out of pocket and then you will re-imburse us?
    I do not have an itemized statement as of yet and I was told to wait till I have everything and then submit! is this correct?
    Or should I feel out the claim form now and provided discharge papers?
    Also, she has meet with an orthopedic surgeon since we been back there is out of pocket expense will they be covered for this cost, being that the accident happens while traveling.
    surgeon at this time it does not think surgery is required, required just follow up ex-rays.

    I called during my trip to get assistance and start a claim. The representative was very nice but I never received the recommendations on where to seek healthcare or confirmation that my claim was started.
