    I was in Papua New Guinea. On May 19 I hurt my leg. Got a doctor till the 16th. I was to leave Brisbane the 23rd but wanted to move it up a day. I called
    the insurance number, was on hold for about 20 minutes, finally talked to someone who was vague and could not give me answer. He did call the next day but I stayed on anyway. Still not sure the policy would have helped with the fare change and possible one night in a hotel.Since I got back on the 23rd I have seen 3 doctors, have a big pharmacy bill, and have been laid up for 2 weeks. I didn't bother to call since I don't have time to hold or to explain to someone who seems dense and defensive. Also,the call from Papua New Guinea was supposed to be collect but wasn't.

    Easy to find policy which best fit our needs on website. I called for clarification questions and ultimately purchased policy over phone with a very helpful representative. Quick service and response time.

    We always buy travel protection when we travel abroad as we are over 65 and want the medical coverage as well as cancellation and interruption insurance. Thankfully we have not had to file a claim, but it gives us great peace of mind to know we will be covered if we need to file a claim.
    I spend a lot of time on Squaremouth.com comparing insurances and your prices are always less than the coverage offered by tour groups. As we age we have taken a few trips abroad with tour groups, but still like to travel on our own in countries we've been to before.

    Information provided was not always clear. I had to send information several times.
