I choose this rating because when setting up the policy there were some organizational issues from HTH site to get the policy to the correct travel cost amount. I had to call several times to get my upcharge taken care of after my cost went up.

Was given the wrong claim information to where to sent claim to. Spent $10 on copies and fax. Checked In after a week of not hearing anything not even a receipt via email. Found out that no one knew about my claim. Was transferred four times u til I reached the “correct person”

That person ensured me my claim was definitely covered if I resent all info. Spent $10 again to fax all documents then emailed it and just got an email that nothing of my trip delay was covered! Hey do I purchase Insurance if unforeseen circumstances are not covered??! I’m disappointed. I will make sure people know not purchase this non-sense insurance coverage. I’m a travel blogger so I’m sure I’ll reach many clients. Unacceptable

The agent was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in what I needed. Thank you. Luckily, we had no problems on the trip.

However, to get to her, I was on hold with several people for quite some time. The wait was a nuisance. This description is "as I recall."
