    They were polite and efficient. However I learned that adding additonal travel insurance coverage would be quite costly. My travel plans changed as we added an additional country and destinations. It was more economical to go with a different carrier.

    My initial visit to your site, I was very impressed with the numerous items which I could receive coverage for, as well as the cost comparisions of other travel insurance carriers. I felt that I made an informed decision regarding my travel insurance coverage.

    The claim we submitted has been there nearly a month and we have not gotten anything but a single email saying they got it. Despite numerous calls to their customer service, who are always nice, we cannot get any updates on it. This is a lot of money at stake and very frustrating. We were not able to go on our trip due to an injury

    My wife developed cancer and we had to cancel 6 months before the trip. We filed the claim on March 11 and did not receive payment until August 18. I had to call twice to get things moving ( a document request had been lost at the company) and get an update. Eventually, they paid in full.

    This was generally a good experience. I'm a repeat customer, and I will be back again.
    But there is a certain lack of clarity about the policy itself. There was a kind of pre-claim procedure that sounded like a way to avoid immediate payment for a claim. This was not, of course, made clear in the pre-purchase information.

    As I say, I'll be back, but next time, I'll be asking questions about this.
