    Would never use this company again. Coverage was not what it claimed to be. Despite two ports on our cruise being cancelled and no refund or future credit from Carnival Cruise line, claim was denied.

    Their website states "You have no active or existing trip claims on file" on 12.6.2023; and they state on this same page "Claims submitted electronically (via online portal or email) may take up to 3 business days to appear in the listing ..." The claim was submitted on 11.21.23.

    Overall, this was a very satisfying experience. Only criticism would be that IMG gave us response time frames that they did not meet. However, all came out well in the end and they paid our claim - which was a “no brainer” but we still appreciate it.

    IMG customer service was easy to contact and the representative answered all my questions and gave me the information I needed to make a quick decision regarding which policy to purchase and to feel confident in my selection.

    I postponed my trip due to the situation in Israel, and I called IMG to let them know, and they told me I can use my policy for another trip within two years of purchase, so I plan to use it next year.

    I travel a lot and always purchase travel insurance. IMG has very comprehensive policies.
    There is always someone who can help me if I need assistance.

    The claim process has been terrible. Highly impersonal and poor communication. I noticed a deposit in my bank account from the provider but no explanation of what it was for. The amount was much less than anticipated. Maybe there is more to come? I don't know since there has been NO communication .

    I was due to go to Israel on November 7th. Once the war broke out in October, I cancelled my trip. IMG denied my claim that was over $6,000 due to the fact that my tour operator did not cancel the trip as they were waiting to see what was going to happen with the war.

    Finally, my church and tour operator cancelled the trip, so I got reimbursed for most of my trip, but they still penalized. I am still owed over $500. I then put in another claim stating the above and said I am not only requesting the lessor amount. I am now denied as “this wasn’t covered”. WHAT - THIS WAS TERRORISM AND MY POLICY CLEARLY STATES I’M COVERED FOR TERRORISM.

    I have now written to the attorney general’s office as well as the Insurance Department to report this horrible company. What was the sense of me paying close to $600 for coverage and then the company keeps finding reasons not to pay my claim. This is unacceptable.

    Our provider at IMG was great, he could’ve sold us a more expensive policy, but he sold us the same policy that he and his wife used for their honeymoon. Because of this, I thought he was very trustworthy, and would use him again. Thankfully, we did not get sick and did not have to use our policy.
