    Unfortunately, I needed to submit a claim for part of my trip after a missed flight connection left my family stuck overnight in our connecting city. Submitting the claim was easy, the communication was good, and I received a check promptly. I will certainly use Seven Corners again for my future travels!

    I needed information about trip extension and trip delay and it was over a weekend. Impossible to contact anyone. All chats and customer service contacts were unavailable for the entire weekend notwithstanding that international destinations are approximately 8 hours ahead. I will ensure that for my next overseas trip I will purchase insurance with proper 24/7 contact availability and not just for emergency medical issues. It was unacceptable not to be able to talk to someone about other insured events that impacted my trip and very stressful. I couldn’t change my flight to a different day as advised by the airlines due to storm activity as this would have necessitated extending my insurance and trip for two days and had no idea whether this was covered. Flights back to the States were delayed and caused untold issues getting back from Rome.

    Service through WhatsApp not really helpful as "agent" was really just an intermediary. Submitted claim and have had delays with no explanation and had to resubmit same information. Still unresolved. Frustrating. Quick to accept payment, slow to provide actual benefits.

    I purchased your travel insurance with the Cancel for any Cause option at the suggestion of the travel agency that had put together a trip to Israel. The trip was supposed to depart in late November 2023, but was cancelled by the travel agency in late October. We were told that we would get no refund because they had already paid for the services we would be using on the trip; and, we were told to submit claims to our insurance company. I did this because I had purchased the cancel for any cause option of your policy to cover by wife’s and my, expenses. However, this claim was denied because the cities in Israel we were visiting were not on travel alerts by the US State Department.

    When I appealed based on the fact that no US airline was flying to Tel Aviv at the time of our trip, Seven Corners sat on the appeal for over a month. And then I got a response within four hours of filling out the first quality survey sent to me by SquareMouth. This time my claim was rejected because there was war in the area.

    So, as I see it, your company never intended to pay any lost money incurred for any reason. First time the answer was no coverage because there was no war, and weeks later, there was no coverage because there was a war in the area. While I believe that the travel agency should reimburse the expenses, they say they will not. So I turned to Seven Corners to cover the failure of our travel plans.

    We have travelled before with the use of Seven Corners as a travel insurance company, and I have noticed that the cost of the insurance is nearly negligible for young travelers, but is very expensive for older travelers. The policy to cover this trip for my wife and myself was nearly $800 for ten days of coverage. This seems to be disproportionately high since you had no plans to live up to your ‘cancel for any cause’’’ option.
