Buying travel insurance with Squaremouth was quick, easy and effective. When I had questions, I called customer service and they were responsive and helpful. This is my go to company for insurance when traveling.

Policy language is rather complex and customer service rep was until to provide definitive answers on benefits. In particular, out of pocket expenses (hotel, meals, transportation) incurred while husband was hospitalized out of town.

Seven Corners processed and paid our claim 16 days after filing, and this included Christmas and New Years holidays and weekends. I would definitely insure with Seven Corners again. Highly recommend!

My concern was the policy stated I needed a physicians written note that I was fit for travel. My Dr said that was a ridiculous request. I am, by the way, a very fit 77 yo.

Well I'm about to contact Seven Corners regarding my lost luggage event. I have never had to file a claim before so I'm not sure what to expect.

My son tore his shoulder rotator cuff and the ligament to attach it back to the shoulder was torn in half. I called Go To Africa and told them we couldn't go on the 2024 trip and they needed to start rebooking the tour in 2025. I then called 7 corners and told them I had $18,000 in airline tickets that I didn't want them to get hurt on. I said, "Do you want to go after the airline for this money or do you want me to try to get some of the money back"? I told them I would be glad to do this for them. I then ask if this would hurt or stop my claim. They said, "No". So for about 8 weeks I pulled every string I had in the airline and travel agency. I had owned the 38 largest travel agency in the world and had lot of contacts that I would talk too trying to get some money back so 7 Corners wouldn't have to pay so much. Finally, I got about half off the business class tickets from Turkish Air. I called 7 corners and told them they now they only had to reimburse me with 1/2 of the tickets prices. I was very excited I had helped them not to use more of their money and started my claim. I have been waiting months to get the money back but they keep saying, "Your missing this document or that document". Yesterday my son sat on the phone and told the agent that he was going to email the documents previously sent 3 times to them but he wasn't going to hang up until she said, "Yes, I have gotten everything". I had trusted this company and was upset they were doing this to me after I had cared about not hurting them anymore than I could with the airline tickets. I could have canceled the 2024 hotels which was around $120,000.00 and place a claim for that amount because the trip was cancelled due to my son's accident. I could have also not worked to get the money back that saved them about $9000.00 because I was told by everyone the airlines were not going to help me. In the end it would have been better for me not to have ever told them and just said, "We reschedule our trip and given them the new dates in 2025". Then I wouldn't have new insurance cost for the 2025 trip that is around $13,000. As of today I have no money back from the insurance company and now I have to pay another insurance company the same $13,000 to insure my trip in 2025. It would be easy for me to send an email to all the top travel agencies owner's I know, telling them what 7 Corners did to me and to not use them because their travelers would have the same troubles. 7 Corners Travel Insurance are not an honest company and when you are dealing with an insurance company you are at their mercy because you have already purchased airline tickets and hotel and tours. Your money is already spent they are the only way to recapture that loss. I hope someone reads this so that they don't have the very same experience because you are totally helpless and 7 corners is in control.
Review Updated: 01/25/2025
My 70th birthday trip got cancelled to Africa. I spoke to the tour company and they started working on moving my hotels to September 2025. I called 7 Corners and told them I just cancelled by airline tickets for the 3 of us with totaled around $18,000.00. I told them that I had owned one of the largest travel agencies and it was ranked 38th in the world. I told them I still have lots of contacts in the airline world and if they would let me I felt I could get some of this money back. I ask that if I did this it wouldn't cause any trouble. They said "None". So for several months I got agents involved who help to locate someone at Turkish Air who felt they could help. They got me back about $9000.00 dollars which was credited to my American Express. So I sent 7 Corners a copy of my Amex Credit card bill where it showed that I got credit making them not having to pay so much on tickets. It has been a night mare..I send what they say they need and they say they never got it. So my son got on his apple phone and called them and got someone on the phone. He told them that we were tired of them saying, "They didn't get the documents" so he recorded the phone conversation and said, "Stay on the phon and when you get the first one let me know"...She said, " got these documents". So we figured that was it. Then they wanted proof of cancelation of tickets. I had showed them the money I got back and maybe they could do a little work and talk to Turkish Air because the carrier was not giving what they wanted. Turkish Air said, I booked through Buy Business Class so they couldn't help me. So I called BBC customer service and they let me know that tickets are purged from each carrier after 6 months. So I gave up and called my attorney. His advice was turn it over too us. It has been over 6 months and I told them last week that I was giving up if I didn't hear something ASAP I was turning it over and would be asking for my attorney fee's paid with possible damages. Holland & Knight are my attorneys and I have copy them on my email to 7 Corners. I am calling them today and letting them know that they will no longer deal with me they will deal with the attorneys. How many of your clients be so concerned about their travel insurance having to pay such a large amount that they work months to cut the cost in half. This is why EVERYONE hates insurance companies. I give up on me continuing to deal with this and turn it over to the people I should have done from day one...Holland and Knight. Jan shaw
that they work months to help get some of the cost

Seven Corners only requested relevant information from me, and promptly payed my claim even before the credit card charge for my medical expenses became due. I could not recommend them more highly.
