    Before Trip
    I'm impartial on this segment of the trip.

    During Trip
    I called via Skype from Greece. The operator emailed me the claims form. He confirmed that I had gathered the documents that I needed.

    Claim Process
    They refused to cover anything because the items were stolen from an unattended vehicle. Theft and vandalism of your rental car seems like a Top 10 reason to HAVE travel insurance. To not receive anything, even after an appeal, is absolutely ludicrous. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

    After looking at their declaration of coverage, it does not appear that they cover laptops or other computing devices. This is also ludicrous as many people travel with these items.

    I’m terribly sorry that you’re upset with the denial of your claim. Please consider that the policy requires your physician to prohibit travel. Unfortunately, travel was not prohibited, per the information that you submitted. Please see the policy verbiage as listed below:

    (a) Sickness, Accidental Injury or death of You, Traveling Companion, or Family Member or Business Partner; which results in medically imposed restrictions as certified by a Physician at the time of Loss preventing Your continued participation in the Trip.

    Seven Corners is contractually required to process all claims, per policy language. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance and we’ll be happy to help you.

    We cancelled the trip due to changes in the trip schedule (by the trip provider). Although we had trip cancellation coverage, Squaremouth did not 'cover that type of cause' for cancellation. We do not recommend Squaremouth, as it does not stand up to the agreement.

    I am disappointed with my experience. Ethan Blout from Marco Polo strongly recommended that I do a last minute purchase of your trip insurance because he said he was worried the tour might not happen. already had Emergency Evacuation Insurance but reluctantly forked out another $445 to you guys. As he predicted, Ethan folded and his tour was cancelled. Turns out I was one day short of the 10 day waiting period...so why should I have gotten it in the first place. I'm very disappointed in Ethan but some leaks over to your company....for not making it more evident that the trip cancellation wouldn't ever work because I was purchasing it too late. I was open about the dates and feel like I should have been counseled since that was the only reason I bought it.

    During Trip
    My wife developed a medical condition on the plane headed to Hong Kong. I tried 4 times in Hong Kong to call collect for assistance and it was refused 4 times. I called on my credit card and after quite a long hold, the agent was really no help at all and didn't have a clue as to why my collect calls were rejected. Everything turned out ok but I was told that they probably won't re-imburse me for the $50 phone call.

    I find it hard to answer the above because it has not been settled yet...the event started March 8 so I guess it was mid march but I just recently submitted more info and have not heard back. I was told I didn't have to submit the claim, the hospital and doctors could and a couple of weeks later I was told it had to come from me so there were delays. I wish I new the status of the claim.

    Ifell at the airport going to security.AUSAIRWAYS persongot me thru seurity. My right leg was cut open t the shin.Our baggage was sent to LONDON INSTEAD OF FCO.We did not get it from EGYPTIAN AIR till very late as they sent it to CARIOinstead of ALEXANDRIA WHERE WE WERE DOCKED.Iwent to the ship,s doctor as my leg seemed tobe infected, They treatedme with antibiotics and adiaretic as im diabetic.Inowfind out i have submitmy charges to MEDICARE which can take a longtime,Ibelieved thepolicy would pay as i have already been charged on the card authorized for charges aboard ship.

    It took a few back and forth communication yet Sevencorners's representatives were very polite and listened my situation sincerely. Claim was handled in about a month yet they did follow through and gave me settlement.

    The wait time was too long and the satellite phone would cut out before my husband could get ahold of someone. We both had severe food poisoning and were in bad shape. Between the archaic resort phone and the long wait time, we couldn't get help.

    The person I initially was in contact with over the phone was not very friendly, but aside from that we were happy with this company. We filed our claim and received a refund in about 3 weeks with the only hassle being filling out the paperwork, but it was fine and we would consider this company in the future as well as rec it.
