    I was absolutely impressed with how Tin Leg handled my claim. My health insurance, Health Net, has yet to produce an EOB for the health portion of my claim submitted to them shortly after returning home from our trip. After five months of haggling with them, I finally called Customer Service at Tin Leg to let them know the situation. I was told to go ahead and file my claim with Tin Leg so they could expedite the review process when I did finally receive the EOB from Health Net. I submitted all of the information with a detailed cover letter explaining what had happened on vacation and the situation with Health Net. I then traveled out of the country for three weeks figuring I'd follow up with Health Net yet again when I returned home. (By the way, we had Tin Leg coverage of this most recent trip too.) Of course there was nothing from Health Net three weeks later, but I was pleasantly surprised to find two settlement checks from Tin Leg fully covering the claim. I was so relieved both by receiving the settlement and not having to continue to deal with Health Net. It was very gratifying to have Tin Leg follow through on the insurance we had purchased. We have used Tin Leg on two other trips without incident, but knowing that Tin Leg "had our backs" when we most needed it, ensures we will not hesitate to use their insurance coverage again and highly recommend them to others. Thank you for your great coverage and excellent customer service.

    The only reason I did not give Tin Lag a five star rating in one of the categories was because I found the process of adding to our premium monthly a bit cumbersome. We purchased our travel package on a no-interest monthly payment plan and as such needed to increase the Tin Leg coverage each time we paid a travel premium. Since we knew the total cost we'd end up paying, it would have been nice if there was a more automated way for Tin Leg to increment the premium each month.

    Thank you again for everything you did for us. We will definitely use Tin Leg coverage again and will recommend Tin Leg to others.

    Sudden Life threatning illness while on trip. in September 2015. Tin Leg has NOT resolved the claim and has given us no real reason for not doing so in 5 months time.. Very unsatisfactory service and unfair to caregivers.

    The experience with Tin Leg was wonderful. The claim was filed 18 months after the trip, and it was resolved without any incident and in a timely manner. I would recommend this company to anyone.

    I changed my vacation from a 10 day to a 15 day and forgot to call and change the length of insurance needed. I did not realize this until the evening before I was to leave. I called customer service and was told that the evening staff could not do anything for me and that I should call the next morning. I called the next morning and customer service was able to extend my trip duration to the 15 days so that I would be covered for my entire trip to Spain and England. Great service and excellent handling of a problem that I created!! I highly recommend Tin Leg to everyone.

    My original claim documents were never received, when I called to query (after I had emailed enquiries a number of times with no response), I was told I would need to resend. I do not recall the person I spoke to but she failed to inform me or give me the option to send my copies via email and suggested that I had sent docs to wrong address. I found her unhelpful and uninterested.

    I called back a few days later to see if I could email copies and spoke to Brandi - she was excellent. She said yes, gave me the email address to send to and then emailed me back to say received and forwarded on! Then she also emailed to let me know the confirmation for the claim a week or so after. Just so helpful, great can do attitude and turned my tin leg experience around.

    I have dealt with many insurance oompanies. I have never experienced dealing with such an outstanding person as Brandi Morse. She is a credit to your company and I will recommend your company highly because of Ms. Morse

    This is the third trip for which we've used Tin Leg insurance. Each time we have been pleased with the quote and purchase process and service received when we contacted Customer Service with questions. As we paid for each trip in installments spread out over a period of several months, Tin Leg made it easy to add coverage monthly. I simply sent an email message to Customer Service indicating the increased trip cost and I received a new quote the same day. Because I had a credit card on file with Tin Leg, Customer Service simply applied the new premium to my card each month and sent me all of the proper paperwork reflecting each month's change. While we did not have a claim on two of our trips, we did file a claim on one. That claim was substantial as it involved an emergency air medical evacuation from the Serengeti, a ground ambulance and hospitalization; all of which affected our prepaid lodging and meals. When we returned home and filed the claim, Tin Leg handled it quickly and efficiently. We supplied the paperwork requested and within three weeks had two settlement checks in hand, with no questions asked. We were extremely pleased with their service, the coverage provided and the end result. We would not hesitate to recommend Tin Leg to any traveler and will certainly use them again ourselves. Their premiums are competitive, they offer excellent service, and you can't beat having the peace of mind they provide you when traveling far from home.

    Great, courteous, customer service! From the time someone answered they could not have been more attentive and helpful. Regrettably had to file a claim due to canceled airline flight. Within a couple of days I was contacted and assured my claim would qualify for reimbursement for my expenses that occurred due to the flight cancellation. As of now I need to complete my end of paperwork. Customer service walked me right through the whole process of filing a claim. Thanks again Tin Leg. I will never travel without your insurance!
