Before Trip
The policy was clear and understandable. The policy had all the options I was looking for at a competitive price. When comparing the key option taht many didn't have was car insurance. This was a good option to have as sometime the insurance for the car rental company can be expensive.

Said they sent form and didn't. Made claim process difficult

Squaremouth is easy to use. We were traveling during hurricane season and wanted the peace of mind that trip insurance would provide. Vacations are supposed to be stress free, right?

I was happy the trip went well and we had no need to make a claim.

I had connection issues due to weather during my trip and the insurance carrier customer service person was very helpful and said they would send the appropriate claim form. They did not give me the full story however. If they had told me when I called them that I needed a written statement from the airline for the reason for the delay, i could have tried to obtain it while I waited 3 hours in the airport for my flight instead of after I returned home when it was so much harder to obtain.

Claim Process
I feel as if I am having to jump through hoops to get my claim. I can't even file the claim until I have proof of payment for my extra flight and my hotel stay. They want my credit card statement which won't arrive until the middle of September. It's pretty annoying that I can't just submit the receipts from the hotel and the e-mail from the airline stating the extra cost for changing my flight.

Claim Process
Although I am still waiting for my claim to be settled, I am satisfied with the service.

I didn't need the insurance. So it was perfect.

It was fairly simple. Documents were downloaded from the internet.

We did not have to use the insurance during the trip.

It is such a piece of mind to know I can travel with the assurance of reimbursement if there are difficulties or cancellations.
