    Great site for making an intelligent comparison on travel insurance policies. Easy to search and review quotes form insurance companies. Very helpful customer service. This is my go-to site for travel insurance policies.

    So far, because we are filing a claim, I had to contact a representative. She was helpful and courteous. Just hope the claim service goes well. We were not able to make it home on the 8th of Sept., due to American Airlines and a flight delay. Stayed the night in Philadelphia, therefore, hotel and meal charges were incurred.

    I feel we had a cursory rejection of our claim. We had a flat tire (which I know was not covered, and I was not requesting reimbursement for that) but there was no spare and so the rental car was not operable. The rental car company sent a tow truck/taxi, but it did not arrive in time to get us to our flights, which we missed (by only 20 minutes). The tickets were non-refundable and we had to rebook for the next flights which were 7 hours later and set us back 1100 Euros. If this is not covered as trip interruption, I am not sure what is.

    Before I filed the claim, I remembered contacting them as soon as we were told we couldn't travel due to medical reasons. But didn't get any response for a good while. I was rather concerned with this delay, but after I filed claim, they had been pretty good in responding to my follow up emails. Right now, they claim they have been waiting for Kaiser (our primary insurance) to share medical records, so we don't know when our claim will be completed. I hope it won't take too long.
