My claim for the cost of rescheduling a train and taxi in order to get home was denied on the basis that it was not a mechanical problem with the plane itself that caused the cancellation.
Also the info that they gave me re finding a doctor at my destination was incorrect.

I needed to know acknowledgment of information received and status of claim. customer service was helpful and told me that my case was assigned to an agent and he would be contacting me. A week or more days later no need so I called and they connected me to the agent extension left a message and he did call saying claim was processed and check mailed

I assumed I was covered if one of us got sick. My wife was hospitalized. I assumed I would be reimbursed for the small claim that was made.
