    Had an emergency requiring MD, nurses and transport to infirmary. Patient was examined and cardiogram was done. We have not been billed for these services, but if we are, we will file the claim

    It took three months to process the claim and several phone calls and requests for additional information. Finally, a customer service agent took some initiative.

    I filed a complete claim and nothing has happened. I keep contacting them . Staff acknowledges they have received everything necessary but noting happens.

    Coverage was what we felt we needed and price was competitive. Also, needed to extend return date as we finalized travel details, and doing so w/Global Alert customer service was problem free.

    After agreed on the policy I preferred with Global Alert customer service rep. on the phone, it turned out to be the wrong one (by Email confirmation).
    The rep. could not help with the change, and I had to contact another dept. to cancel and re-purchase the policy I originally preferred.

    I had filed a claim with global alert that was denied and it was only for $100. Seemed unfair because part of my trip was changed as a result of some political unrest and Global alert denied the claim which I thought was pretty shabby.
