    love your site...so easy to compare plans AND love the guarantee if any issues arise. makes me feel like insurance isnt a waste and the companies will actually support you if you need anything...also got an email while in myanmar to check i was ok since there was an earthquake...thats pretty cool! Def using you guys next trip abroad!

    Experience was great. My daughters flight to Ecuador was delayed 3.5 hours due to weather and we were not sure she would make it to Dallas in time for the flight to Quito. Contacted Roam Right to figure out the options. It was a relief knowing there was a back up plan. This was all before she even boarded! Did not end up needing service but I won't ever travel without it again.

    Time will tell, but my previous interaction with Squaremouth and the companies they provide for travel insurance was extremely good.

    RoamRight did acknowledge our claim within 24 hours of generating the claim, but as of today September 2, 2016 it has not been settled. Claim was for $4198.96 to cover the additional cost of the same exact car in Boston rather than our original destination.

    The only confusing I had was that when the claim was paid, and in a very timely manner, I could not understand why I was only getting 1/2 to the amount claimed. I did discover a bit later that half was paid using my insurance and half was paid to my wife's insurance policy. Once I understood everything was GREAT!

    We will never travel without an trip insurance policy in the future and have already gotten trip insurance for our trip in May of 2017.

    RoamRight emailed the appropriate paperwork prior to my departure and that is the only communication prior to my trip so it isn't possible to rate my experience prior to contacting customer service. However, I had items stolen during my trip and had to contact them to file a claim.

    I contacted RoamRight by phone and they emailed me the claim form. They did not inform me at the time that I could have filed online and they did not discuss the time frame or procedure in any length. They also did not tell me what to do if I did not have a receipt so I had to make another call to get more information. I faxed the claim and received an email notice the claim was assigned. I waited 8 days to contact the claims adjuster. I emailed and received the same automated response I got 8 days earlier, which was we have your claim, but no further information was given . I decided to call the adjuster instead and was not allowed to speak to them and was told " it takes 2-3 weeks" and that is standard but your near the top of the list so that's good. It had not even been reviewed or seen by the adjuster so it takes 3 weeks before they even look at the claim. The customer representative was curt and somewhat sarcastic when I informed her that one of the items I was doing without was a cell phone that was stolen. She thought it was ridiculous that I could be living without a cell phone due to the claim with them. Because cell phones cost over $800 I would like to at least be partially reimbursed before I buy a new one. Therefore, I am living without one. Her attitude was not one of wanting to help. Overall, they have not been very informative, helpful, or efficient. I would not recommend them. We will see if they even do what they are supposed to do in the end.

    In your case, a decision on your claim was made on 8/23 and you should receive the details of the decision shortly.

    It was easy to enroll, and when I called with a question, even though the person couldn't answer confidently, he directed me to email the correct person and assured me I would get an answer during office hours. Which happened early Monday morning. I'm very happy with my encounter with customer service, and having the insurance gave us peace of mind during the trip.

    We were terribly disappointed in not being able to go on our trip at the last minute due to medical reasons. So I was not terribly thrilled with having to go through a bunch of paperwork and hassle about the insurance. But, lo! and behold! It was hassle-free! From downloading the forms to receiving our checks in a timely manner, the process was easy and forthright. We will definitely utilize Roam Right for future trips.

    I quickly and easily got connected with a plan provider, pretty much at the last minute due to my procrastination. The plan was inexpensive and know I had it was a big relief and allowed me to enjoy my trip much better!
