    Our claim was simple: Our train to the airport was delayed by an accident on the tracks, causing us to miss our flight. We caught a flight the next morning and sought reimbursement for one night hotel stay plus meals. Upon filing our claim, Tin Leg contracted us immediately and handled the process quickly. They sent a check for the claimed amount within 24 hours. Very efficient and problem-free.

    Really, I would say the experiences I've had have been great. Since I've never filed a claim it's hard to know how things will go if something were to actually go awry but I like the wide selection of policies and the information provided on the web site as I go about making a decision. My wife and I made a decision that at this point in life for ourselves, and due to the fact that we have aging family members, that a policy makes good sense. We're happy with the choices available the service provided. I won't hesitate to buy from Squaremouth again in the future.

    The chat option was great. Helped me get exactly what I wanted at a great price. Although I didn’t need to use the coverage it was money well spent and gave me peace of mind on my overseas trip

    I contacted Tin Leg when my wife fell and broke her hip while in London and the response was immediate. They got in touch with the company servicing the medical aspect of the policy, FGA, who immediately contacted the hospital and guaranteed payment. If anything, FGA was willing to do more than was needed to satisfactorily insure that my wife got the4 surgery she needed and that we were able to get home safely after her release from the hospital. While she was hospitalized, the hospital never approached us for money or even a credit card to guarantee payment. FGA handled it all, quickly and in full.

    I forwarded the medical bill for my wife's overseas hospitalization to them and it was paid in full. They had earlier written the hospital and told them that the payment was guaranteed by them. I only had a few reimbursable bills for incidental expenses, and, I received a refund in full. There were never any problems with the insurance and all went smoothly when we had an unexpected medical emergency overseas.

    My claim was due to our flight from Chicago to Munich being delayed for 6 1/2 hours. Due to that delay, we missed our train from Munich to Bolzano Italy & had to overnight in Munich.

    Tinleg demanded receipts, which we had, for additional expenses incurred, but they also wanted proof of our flight delay. We had been bumped from United to Luffhansa & despite my repeatedly requesting each airline for the delayed departure time, neither could provide it. I finally sent copies of our other expenses to Tinleg & somewhat to my surprize, they paid us, except for an expensive taxi-ride from Bolzano Italy to our pre-paid hotel in Kastelruth. When I asked about that, they explained, once we were at our destination, additional expenses were not allowable.

    I disagree that Bolzano was our destination, since Kastelruth was, but so it goes.
