    Trip interrupted because of covid.
    Told I would need to get a doctor’s note before filing a claim but that was not immediately available (because of positive test denied boarding to my cruise, but no official notice). Have that now and will be filing the claim shortly.

    We originally purchased our plan in Jan 2020 when we booked our trip. Covid worries cancelled our trip and we moved it exactly one year later. I called Tin Leg and they were able to transfer the policy with new dates to a year later for $100 more. I also spoke to them pre departure about the specific travel insurance requirements Turks required. Once home this week I phoned them again to discuss the claim process. Every call has been a 10/10 experience, amazing customer service.

    I considered a few providers and Tin Leg won out in the end because of customer service that was far superior than the others. I didn't understand the nuances of COVID cancellation insurance, and Tin Leg's rep spent the necessary amount of time carefully walking me through various scenarios and making sure I was comfortable with the product I was about to purchase.

    Due to Covid we had to postpone the trip. I was pleased that Tin Leg allowed us to suspend coverage to use the policy when we travel at a later date.

    Everything was easy, questions were answered. Felt like I was trying to be upsold for policy coverage I did not need, but overall everything was clarified and easy to navigate.

    I called to review the plan with a rep. They were informative and helpful. I felt a sense of peace knowing I had the insurance. Worth every penny! The cost was also very reasonable.

    It was unclear whether I needed to cover the entire trip cost. I contacted customer service who made it clear, but it would have been better if it was clear without interaction. The site implied yes, but since I was purchasing to late for cancellation for any cause coverage, it wasn't needed.
